More official readings

Mommy went for an ultrasound scan on Thursday, a day before the Easter holiday. It's all looking good through the camera. I have grown to 5.8 cm tall. My heartbeat count read 134. And according to the computer calculation, I am 7 weeks old. Here's the exciting bit - the estimated date of arrival now reads 27th November, very close to mommy's birthday.

While mommy was getting checked, daddy called up Dr Huynh's office to get herself listed. Next month she'd have her first appointment with Dr Huynh, her obstetrician. It's all starting to get exciting for everyone.

It's official

Mommy finally made it to the doctor this morning. She had her tests done on Saturday, and followed up with the report on Sunday morning with daddy and sister Ayesha. For the technical minded, here was the result:

Pregnancy test quantitative analysis: 28848 IU/L

And according to the chart, that's about 8-9 weeks of normal pregnancy. Yes, that means I am a  living and breathing life inside my mommy's tummy who is more than 2 month old (inside tummy days, that is). Doctor had few more tests recommended for mummy and a referral to check in with the obstetrician. They were all very excited to get a confirmation of their home test.
